May Mobility, Inc. is an autonomous vehicle startup located in Ann Arbor, Michigan that deploys fleets of driverless vehicles for enterprise and municipal customers.
Launched in 2017 with a strong team of experienced roboticists and software engineers with decades of experience fielding autonomous systems in the wild, May Mobility is looking to expand its team with systems engineers with demonstrated experience working software and hardware for safety-critical systems.
A qualified candidate will have excellent software, firmware, and/or hardware development skills, with significant programming experience in C for complex safety-critical systems. Familiarity with MISRA guidelines and/or ISO 26262 standards preferred. This position involves hands-on integration of hardware and software components into complex systems, and requires an eye for safety and detail, as well as the ability to work individually and in teams, and superb written communication skills. Prior experience with ADAS, robotics, or autonomous vehicles is a plus. An ideal applicant will have a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, and 3+ years industry experience working with safety-critical systems, preferably with a background in automotive, aerospace, or medical industries.
