Job Summary

May Mobility is entering an exciting phase of growth and our team is expanding quickly. We are looking for an Office Manager to keep our office running smoothly. This role will be responsible for ensuring our team has what they need to work efficiently and comfortably.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manage facility operations and procedures (e.g. mail, deliveries, security, etc.)
  • Act as primary liaison between the company and building management (e.g. repairs, plant upkeep, building code compliance, landlord management, etc.)
  • Contract, negotiate with, and oversee external vendors who work with us on-site (e.g. janitorial, contractors, etc.)
  • Be the face of the company by greeting, directing, and assisting all onsite visitors with logistics
  • Manage the planning, purchasing, and upkeep of workstations, furniture and employee supplies
  • Plan and coordinate in-house snacks and catered lunches, including menu planning and execution, with awareness of special dietary needs for allergies, sensitivities and other requirements
  • Keep a pulse-check on office culture, organize office activities and assist in planning offsite team events
  • Coordinate celebrations for meeting goals, birthdays, anniversaries etc.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable office space, gently encouraging others to do the same by providing necessary tools and organizational aids
  • Optimize our office space for productivity, prioritizing and creating systems / processes that benefit employees


Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years previous comparable office management experience
  • Solutions-oriented attitude, systems-level thinker with high attention to detail
  • Comfort with Google Suite
  • A positive attitude and love for making teams happier and more efficient
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at every level of the company
  • Ability to move easily between projects priorities without losing focus

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous startup or growth company experience strongly preferred
